Link Adsense with your blog in blogger.com

Google Adsense is server program that places advertisements on your website. Adsense pays you when your website visitors click the advertisements. This is called pay-per-click. You can also be paid per-impression. This means whenever a specified number of visitors see an advertisement on your site, Adsense will pay you. The ads are content-relevant, because Google searches your site and places ads that relate to your post.

It's easy and free to add Google Adsense to your Blog, and start making money through your site's traffic. Here's how to do it.

You'll need an Adsense account. Go to Google.com/Adsense to create an account.

You'll need your blog address, also.

Make sure you read all of the terms of agreement for Adsense. One of the most important rules is that you cannot click your own ads on your site. Many people are tempted to do this, because you are paid per click. Google has the technology to know if you've done this, and you will be unceremoniously dropped from the program.

After signing up, be patient. It takes approximately 1 to 2 weeks for your account to be manually approved.. You don't, however, have to wait until its approved to follow the next step.

You'll need a blog. It's important to have a blog before applying for an Adsense account because it requires the URL for setup. You are free to use other blog services with Adsense, but in this article we'll discuss setting up Adsense with Blogger. Using Blogger for your blog hosting makes for seamless Adsense integration, since Google owns both Adsense and Blogger.

Configure Adsense from your Blogger Dashboard.

If you have more than one blog, select the blog you'd like to display Adsense, and click Layout.
Click Add a Gadget, Scroll down to Adsense. Sign in to your Adsense account.
You will need to select your design preference from 18 different formats.
Customize colors. You'll see an instant mock-up display of your ad.
Your unique publisher ID is located at the bottom of the pop-up page.
Save changes and you're set to start making money.
Don't worry about going back after your Adsense has been approved. Your account will automatically update itself.

A few important tips when using Adsense:

Place your ads strategically around your site,
Do not bombard your visitors with too many ads.
You should not have more than 6 ads on your page.
Never solicit visitors to click on your Adsense ads
Never click on your own Adsense ads.
Because Adsense searches your content to post relevant ads, you cannot have any other content-searching ad programs, like Kontera, on the same page. They cancel each other out.You can have them on separate pages, but that's a lot of hassle, and only recommended for advanced users, and not in Blogger accounts.
